I'm going to have...Visiting again from Alabama! I'm going to have to read this book! I'm a big fan of "Love that Dog" and "Hate that Cat" by Sharon Creech. Always enjoy seeing what a fellow 6th grade teacher is doing. You seem to have more freedom to use the reading series as you want to. Our literacy coach would probably enjoy seeing this idea to work with our Tier 3 (struggling) students. I'm a first year teacher, so I really enjoy seeing other's ideas.
